Question by Joel: can you take colchicine and ibuprofen at the same time for gout?

Answer by Hemen Ee
NO! Both of them are toxic anti-inflammatory drugs. And both of them have potential side effects on your gastrointestinal. Taking both of them together may result in serious stomach discomfort such as nausea, vomitting or diarrhea.
I wonder that it is your doctor that suggested you to take both of those drugs together or it is just your personal intention to do so due the intense gout pain you are experiencing now. What ever the reason it is, my personal experience with hundreds of gout patients tells me that is not a wise move.
Look, those drugs are just temporary relief to the pain you are suffering now. There is no instant cure for you gout problem, but there is a gradual way to get rid of the root of the problem by slowing neutralizing the uric acid crystals that are hidden in your joints or muscles. You need to be rational and shift your perspective on gout, then only you will see the ultimate way out from this gouty devil. All the best!

The continuing practice of routine neonatal nonreligious circumcision represents an enigma, particularly in the United States. About 80 percent of the world’s population do not practice circumcision, nor have they ever done so. Among the non-circumcising nations are Holland, Belgium, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Scandinavia, the USSR, China, and Japan. People employing circumcision do so either for “health” reasons or as a religious ritual practiced by Muslims, Jews, most black Africans, non-white Australians, and others. Read Wallerstein’s pioneering article here: www.cirp.org The origin of the ritual practice is unknown. There is evidence of its performance in Israel in Neolithic times (with flint knives) at least 6000 years ago.38 Jews accept the Old Testament origin as a covenant between God and Abraham,18 although it is generally agreed that the practice of circumcision in Egypt predated the Abrahamic Covenant by centuries.55 Ritual Circumcision is not germane to this discussion except insofar as the surgical ritual impinges upon accepted medical practice.65 So called “health” circumcision originated in the nineteenth century, when most diseases were of unknown etiology. Within the miasma of myth and ignorance, a theory emerged that masturbation caused many and varied ills. It seemed logical to some physicians to perform genital surgery on both sexes to stop masturbation; the major technique applied to males was circumcision. This was especially true in the …

Question by nancy: Is a strong chemical odor in the urine a sign of gout?
I have been to the poditatrist a couple of times. He did do one test to see if I had gout but the blood test came back negative for gout. My left big to is almost always sore and swollen. I sometimes get a hot burning sensation in it when i’m not even using it. The doctor said if it was gout then it would be more painful. He says it is just inflamatory authritis. I only notice this smell in the morning and my feet hurt so bad in the morning. I never notice this smell at any other time and the severe pain in my foot gets milder but never actually goes away. If any one suffers from anything close to this I would appreciate some input.
Thanks
Nancy

The urine smell is probably just concentrated urine because you wake up dehydrated. Feet hurting in the morning is normal for this type of pain – my knees protest in the morning most also.
I think you are experiencing a correlation, not a causal relationship here. Try to drink water when you first get up to relieve the dehydration, and drink plenty of water throughout the day. The feet – I can’t argue with your doctor on that.
