I have a history of repeated gout attacks on a period of 11 months, both my knees and ankle still aches and still a bit swollen. Im begining to suspect that this might be permanent.

well Gout attacks are caused by deposits of crystallized uric acid in the joint. Its better to consult a podiatrist ( Foot specialist doctor ) for examination. Also you can find more information over here http://www. medfoot. com/art_gout. html
