Good suggestions above. There are two main things about battling gout: help your body get rid of uric acid, and help your body to not create so much uric acid.
Best website I’ve found so far: http://www.best-gout-remedies.com
How to help it get rid of uric acid?
1. Drink 1 oz of water for every 2 lbs of body weight.
2. Make the body alkaline (see website above)
3. Eat lots of fruits, veggies, fiber, sour dairy.
How to help it not create more uric acid?
1. Celery seed pills have been shown to help keep the liver from creating uric acid.
2. Don’t eat foods that are either high in purines, or block the body from getting rid of uric acid. A short list is: beer, organ meats, high fructose corn syrup, processed foods.
Good luck to you!
