Question by kris t: i have gout in my right foot and a over sized bunion to boot and its inflamed hurts like crazy what do i do?
i have already had this in my left foot and it took 3 times to fix because of the screw he put in busting my already hurt toe in 1/2.I am in alot of sever pain and get vicodin but believe me it does nothing for it and want to know how to help it myself.

Gout sucks! Ibuprofen works the best for pain and its also helps with the inflammation. Drink lots of water to flush the uric acid out of kidneys. Stay away from beer for a while. You should see your doctor. He may prescribe some meds. Colchicine, Indocine(Ibuprofen) are common medicines that help. If gout keeps reoccurring you may want to talk to your doctor about allopurinol, a preventive medicine. Good Luck.
