My husband was in a wheel chair his gout was so bad. I started juicing everyday and it’s gone and has not come back! We used 4-5 carrots, 1 lg or 2 sm beats, 3-4 apples, 2 pears, 2-3 celery stalks, some red cabbage, parsley and anything else we had we could juice. Then we topped it off with squeezing a half of lemon in each glass. It’s sweet and good and you don’t notice the beats! This made two very large glasses of juice, I drank one with him. It’s very good and really did the job on his awful gout! I’ts fun to expierment on putting things together and see how they taste too! He tried changing his diet and ate the cherries and foods they said, but nothing worked like the juicing did! Hope it helps you guys out!

Take him off red meat! Thats a must.
Oily fish can help or other fishes (substitute for meat). Try get him vegetarian eating healthy foods.
Reduce the amount of protiens he takes in, and lower fats can help but it doesnt realy matter. No alcohol as well.
