I’m curious as to what foods trigger gout in YOU. I suggest you journal what you eat and times you have flares to pinpoint what works and what does not. Gout.com has a page that outlines what food you may need to avoid or to eat. Food alone may not be the problem. It could be how your body works and eliminates waste.
Have you looked at-

I remember reading apple cider vinegar worked for gout. I’d advise caution; it may only work for others.

Your body is unique, unlike any other. Please take the time to find out what its story is.

  1. Gout is uric acid build up in your joints usually. The big toe is usually the first and worst. I helped someone with this years ago and can’t remember everything I recommended, However, I do remember the only thing he used and was immensely grateful for, and that was black cherry extract. It is a thick black cherry syrup, maybe a concentrate. Anyway you can get it at a natural food store or a pharmacy that specializes in holistic supplements. They accordingly can not keep it in stock and sell out of it all the time which proves that it must work. This person would buy three bottles at a time. I am sure this will give you some relief, if not total. This person had been off work for 5 wks because of the condition and couldn’t afford to lose anymore wrk. He was literally dragging his foot. The doctors told him they couldn’t do anything more for him and they were sorry. They were suggesting amputation of his foot. He went back to work and golfing the next week. Ha! Happy, happy, me too.

  2. For years I suffered from gout to the point that I was often unable to walk! The most important thing you can do to treat your gout is to change your diet. I found cherry juice and baking soda useful, but different things work for different people. I struggled with finding enough information on various blogs, mailing lists and forums until I found this resource below. It contained everything I needed to remedy my gout at home without expensive drugs. I recommend you check it out as soon as possible.
