Redness and swelling of a limb is not a normal thing. May be related to gout, but may be something else all together as a deep vein thrombosis, or infected cells. You can make a trip to urgent care / ER earlier than dopo. and Chad, RN

That sounds like untreated diabetes. What can be fatal or should see a doctor about it or go to a pharmacy and buy a meter blood sugar and test your blood for sugar levels.

one of the worst things with gout is to eat foods high in fat, her father needs an injection of vitamin B, to alleviate the problem if the urine smell this is a good sign that the kidneys are flushing toxins, maintaining fluid can `ta walk to the toilet (ouch its full real pain) will use a bucket

Oh, this does not sound right. He should be in the ER now. This sounds like diabetes and if left untreated, can lose limbs or even death. Please take it seriously and consult a doctor or go to the hospital. Prompt medical attention is necessary. Good luck!
