  2. I can not understand why my MD has told me to stay away from bananas. He said that bananas have potassium excess and even a small amount gives me an attack of gout. He said no one should need an extra vit. C if you eat well. He's crazy or just not as smart as a nutritionist?

  3. Hello, I went to many, many doctors because of my gout. Each doctor had something else in order to avoid or get more. A general practitioner was clean and only admitted that he did not know much about how it should be. Here is what I found. Too much red meat, shrimp, nuts and beer. The darker the beer is the worst. What is life without beer. Sometimes I think I'm breathing gout. I wonder if the acid crystals accumulate in the kidneys and then attack, or that collect in the joint slowly?
