No, gout is a defect in uric acid metabolism and not related to the stomach.

Not that I am aware of. Gout is pain associated with uric acid crystals in the joints. Drinking alcohol regularly can precipitate gout.

H. pylori is a type of bacteria which may cause peptic ulcers It can be found in a lot of people (20% of people over 40) and potentially spread through saliva.
Gout is an EXCRUTIATINGLY painful joint disorder. (I have it) It is caused by the the build up of uric acid. When the body does not metabolize the acid, it crystalizes in a joint usually in the big toe. The pain is SOOO bad that the weight if a bed sheet will make you scream!
