Question by snapperv: what foods cause gout medical condition?
i know someone who was diagnosted with gout and is worried about a certain diet which could be helpful against fighting it or the other side could be harmful.any suggestions?

Junk food, all processed food, ie, lunchmeats, weiners, etc.

Animal fats, high fat, rich foods cause the problem.
Eliminate all animal foods. That includes butter and egg yolks. Then when the problem is corrected, eat them in moderation only.

Avoid food that are high in purine(may raise uric acid level) such as liver and other organ meats, pork, legumes and poultry. excess alcohol consumption.

Eat a balanced diet not rich in fats,or fried foods, no smoking,limit alcohol . eat plenty vegs,whole wheat, 1% milk , some cant digest meat so well, eat fish, more chicken, salad. cut way back on soft drinks. drink green tea. pleanty of water. stop spicy foods, red saucy foods. start a food diary.

eat cherry’s, if you cant find fresh ones the ones in the jars will also work. your kidneys are not filtering out the uric acid. gout is a form of arthritis

When someone has gout, it means that his/her body has a problem of getting rid the excess uric acid. Therefore, he/she must change his/her lifestyle, for examples, try to avoid eating organs and consume less red meat, shellfish and alcohol. Eating cherries help to reduce uric acid level in the body.
