The Four Stages of Gout

The Four Stages of Gout
Gout is a very painful type of arthritis that occurs because of the buildup and crystallization of uric acid in the body. This uric acid buildup and subsequent crystallization leads to painfully sharp uric acid crystal being deposited throughout the body’s joints especially the big toe. Other deposits of uric acid called tophi can also form resembling lumps underneath the skin and kidney stones can also develop as the result of this condition.
For most people who are unlucky enough to get gout, the big toe is the part of the body that suffers the most. When inflicted with gout, the big toe becomes extremely sore and sensitive sometimes even becoming warm and swollen. A gout attack at night can be severely painful, waking the sufferer up it it occurs.
Gout occurs in four separate stages:
Stage 1: Asymptomatic Hyperuricemia
No symptoms are felt in this first stage of gout in which the uric acid levels start to rise. If the high levels of uric acid are not attended to, then it will began to precipitate out of the blood and become crystallized in the kidneys and joints.

Stage 2: Acute gouty arthritis
Acute gout is the second stage and the stage in which gout begins to harm the body. The Uric acid levels reach a point that the blood cannot keep it in a dissolved form and it begans to crystallize and deposit itself in the joints. Pain and swelling then occurs. Attacks of acute gout generally happen in the night and can last for weeks at a time if left untreated. These attacks can then become more severe and prolonged if nothing is done about them.
Stage 3: Intercritical gout
After the attacks have subsided a person enters this third stage in which the immune system begins to stabilize itself and gets ready for more attacks from the still forming uric acid crystals. While there are no symptoms in stage three, if a person with gout does not get help by this time, the disease becomes increasingly harder to control.
Stage 4: Chronic Gout
This is the worst and most destructive stage of the condition and one that can cause permanent damage to the joints and kidneys. The affected joints can deteriorate, causing extreme crippling pain. In some more extreme case, this stage can even lead to kidney failure and death.
Like many other chronic conditions, gout is a disease that can build upon itself and become worse if it is not treated in its earlier stages. By noticing the early warning signs and seeing a physician, you can catch gout in its early stages and reduce the chances of having to go through the crippling latter ones.

1 Unique Way To Stop Gout Pain
Gout has to be one of the most painful conditions there is. And when you are suffering an attack you’ll do anything to stop gout pain. You can use drugs, or, you can utilise natural remedies. Here, you’ll learn about one home-based remedy to stop gout pain.
Gout is caused by high levels of uric acid in the blood which build up in the joints in the form of crystals of uric acid (urate). The result are the symptoms of gout; stiffness, swelling, heat, redness, inflammation and, of course, excruciating pain.
Mainstream treatment for pain is usually by anti-inflammatory drugs such as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAIDs) which work very well. But they do have nasty side effects like; nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, bleeding and stomach ulcers. So many sufferers are now looking to natural ways to stop gout pain.
Nature does supply us with very many things that have natural anti-inflammatory properties. But one that might surprise you is celery seeds. Yes, celery seeds…
Celery seeds have nearly 20 different kinds of anti-inflammatory properties that make them extremely useful in reducing inflammation and stopping gout pain. They are also a diuretic, so they can help excrete urine, and so, uric acid from the body. This helps to lower uric acid levels, which again aids gout relief.

Celery seeds can be taken as a drink or as an extract…
As a drink, you should add 1 tablespoon of celery seeds to 2 cups of water and boil until the seeds are soft. Strain the seeds off, then drink 1/2 cup four times a day until the symptoms disappear.
But many people prefer the extract option because the drink can taste bitter. Celery seed extract comes in tablet or capsule form. Follow the dosage on the label.
You can also eat fresh, raw celery. The active components are in the stalk. Eat between 4 to 8 stalks every day. You can make it more appealing by eating it with some low-fat cheese.
WARNING: Celery seeds are a diuretic so always drink plenty of water. And they should never, ever be used by anyone with any kidney problems whatsoever. They should not be used by pregnant women either. As always, discuss with your doctor before trying.
But celery and celery seeds are just one of many natural remedies for gout out there. And for those of you who might not be able to take them, there are sure to be others that you can. You just have to find the remedy that’s right for you.

Here’s an «avant-goût» of what’s it like when we record a song in studio! Enjoy! Thank you for your love and support! Here’s how I worked my version of the classic made famous by Judy Collins especially! Stephen Sondheim wrote the song specifically for the actress Glynis Johns, who created the role of Desirée on Broadway. The song is structured with four verses and a bridge, and uses a complex triple meter. It became Sondheim’s most popular song after Judy Collins and Frank Sinatra recorded it in 1975. Subsequently, Barbra Streisand, Shirley Bassey, Zarah Leander, Tiger Lillies and many other famous artists have recorded the song, and it became a jazz standard.
