I’ve heard cherries are the wonder cure for that. Even drink Cherry juice. Something in the cherries counteracts with the uric acid. Many people have claimed to found relief with this.

If you are getting frequent attacks your doctor should have prescribed a medication such as Lisinopril (or are you already on a prescribed med?) to reduce the uric acid being produced in your system.
As far as what foods to avoid (generally purines) and which ones are perhaps beneficial, check these links:

A gout diet emphasizes dairy products, vegetable protein and lots of water. It used to be that a purine-free diet was advised but this has largely been abandoned. It involved avoiding altogether those foods high in purines. Examples of these foods are all organ meats, sweetbreads, wild game, mackerel, meat gravies & sauces, scallops, herring, anchovies and sardines.
Nowadays, a purine-modified diet is usually recommended. This involves limiting to one serving a day of such purine foods as dried beans & peas, asparagus, cauliflower, spinach, mushrooms, poultry, meat & fish. It’s okay to have some protein foods that don’t exceed 100 grams of protein per day.
Before starting a purine-modified diet, or special diet of any kind, check with a doctor

Eat plenty of fresh fruit including berries and cherries.
Restrict red meat down to a small palm sized portion every couple of days, add whole grains and reduce white flour items such as breads or pastas etc.
Generally I use Organic Apple Cider Vinegar ( 2 teaspoons ) mixed with 2 teaspoons of Organic honey and 2 teaspoons warm water after every meal. This aids the reduction of uric acid levels in the blood stream and for me is a great maintainer of my body. I do this daily and have not had an attack since.
there are other types of helpers to take such as celery extract with celery oils ( get this from a health food store ) this flushes the uric acid out fast… YOU MUST have at least litres of water daily ( filtered ) as the most important thing is to keep your kidneys working and flushing the waste products out.
Stop alcohol immediately mainly Beer as this has the highest levels of purines in it which is enemy number 1 to a gout sufferer.
I have a site which is free and worth looking at called Gout Aware..
