Big toe joint.
If you need to ask, you need to ask a Physician. Seriously, I have arthritis, not gout, but the symptoms are similar.
Gout is a systemic disease, having to do with a chemical imbalance in your blood. There is simple treatment, but you have to have the blood test for the correct diagnosis.
Really, seriously, this can kill you. Although, it is most likely you just stumbed your toe.

Feet swell out. Gout is a disturbance in the urin process. Diabetics also have similar problems. Ask a doctor for more spacific info on the condition. If necessary they can Rx meds that may help. Basic diet info is important to know about, low fat, low carbs, cut the salt, drink water.
